Gas prices in New Mexico are up $0.028 cents per gallon from a month ago and remain $1.094 higher than this time last year, according to GasPrices.AAA.com.
New Mexico is faring well compared to most states and is currently paying 5.6 cents per gallon under than the national average (down from 7 cents last week and 10 cents under the national average two weeks ago).

The cheapest gas in Albuquerque continues to be Costco, at $2.76 a gallon. For the cheapest gas in the state, that honor goes once again to Alamogordo, this time to the Wal-mart at2401 Indian Wells Road, Alamogordo, NM, where you’ll pay just $2.66 per gallon.
